Posted at 14:45h, 07 AprilTo Fil – did not know exactly where to post this link, but this is the wireless unit at least Malcolm is using currently.

Posted at 17:22h, 07 AprilI put this up in the “The VEGA works!” category, but id didnt get much attention. I suppose Malcolm’s unit isnt as much of a mystery since he just wanted transparency π

Posted at 17:46h, 07 AprilSorry bro, I had seen it. But I already knew this, so… Why dont you make a brand new post about it? You CAN now π

Posted at 14:17h, 06 AprilWow, thats a lot of complicated looking electronics.
By the way, do you guys think that Angus boosted his signal on the later recordings too, or do you think that is just the guitar and the amplifier?

Posted at 23:40h, 03 AprilHahaha they dont make pcb’s like that anymore, those circuit tracks are like spagetti, alot of components in that unit π

Posted at 17:50h, 03 Aprilwow, there’s alot going on internally in there, pretty amazing how much goes into one of these devices.

Posted at 16:49h, 03 AprilLooks like Guido eliminated the Zemo half moon connector that recieved the lavalier mic and hard wired a 1/4 inch plug with no impedance matching transformer. Did he provide a wiring diagram?

Posted at 16:52h, 03 AprilIt would be great to have an image of the inside of the transmitter after the mod showing how the 4 wires connected to the new jack π

Posted at 12:22h, 03 AprilI thought there will be only a few coils and transistors inside, maybe even tubes. But this is pretty complicated π I can’t wait to hear it.

Posted at 08:48h, 03 AprilReally packed unit. Very interesting. And looks like it’s ready for plugging in a guitar. So just a few days left before we will hear how it sounds π

Posted at 07:54h, 03 AprilWow, this makes me want to learn a little something about serious guitar electronics. But that is really amazing.
Did Guido take these shots?

Posted at 07:42h, 03 AprilMan, that’s one busy unit. π
No wonder he had to do the adapter outside the transmiter. You couldn’t fit a pick in there much less a cable jack. π
Does he have any picks of the “copy” pedal yet?
